1.Sales Analyst Intern
Intern will join our GC channel sales team to develop and implement business and sales strategies. Here, you will learn firsthand how a consumer electronics company of Apple’s size leverages data and strong reseller partnerships to serve the world’s largest, most dynamic smartphone market. An integral part of strategic planning, our analysts tackle new business problems everyday to identify and communicate actionable data that have real business impact. Here’s an idea of what we do:
Track, analyze, and report sales KPI, consumer offers, etc.
Analyze consumer electronics market size and consumer demand trends, including but not limited to smartphone, tablet, personal computer, wearables, etc.
Analyzeretailchannelchangesandsupportdevelopmentofrelatedroute-tomarket strategy, including both offline and online retail
Review effectiveness of existing retail programs
Evaluate program performance both qualitatively and quantitively, highlighting risks and opportunities
Support development of new retail programs or performance improvement programs
Help launch and track the implementation of pilot programs 


Experience / Skills Required:
Open to all majors
Analytical mind with good business sense 

Data-driven and quantitative skills are a MUST 

Capable of critical thinking and creative problem solving 

Ability to communicate/present complex ideas effectively& efficiently 

Excel proficiency required (PivotTable, H-Lookup, V-Lookup, and other critical functions to data cleaning and analysis; Comfortable with Excel logic and writing nested formulas)
Tableau preferred

2. NL Scientist/Engineer Intern (Beijing)
Job Summary
Research in Natural Language and Machine Learning has already made a deep impact in Apple’s front-line products, such as Siri. Research Scientists at Siri are taking this a step further by redefining artificial intelligence, and creating groundbreaking technology for natural language processing, machine learning, and large scale systems. Come join the Siri China team, and work with the people who created the intelligent assistant that helps millions of people get things done — just by asking.
Key Qualifications
Expertise and experience in various facets of machine learning and natural language processing, such as classification, feature engineering, information extraction, structured prediction, clustering, semi-supervised learning, topic modeling and ranking
Programming experience in one or more of the following: Java, C++, Python or equivalent
Hard working, self-starter, proven ability to manage multiple projects to strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of engineers
Contributions to research communities, e.g. ACL, NIPS, ICML, CVPR, etc.
Native Chinese language speaker and proficiency of Mandarin Chinese
Intimate knowledge of greater China region and its culture 

Description 

The goal for this role is to take Apple’s Chinese voice assistant to the next level of intelligence and accuracy using advanced statistical techniques. From improving core modeling algorithms to creating experiments and implementing prototypes rapidly, Siri NLP Research Scientists work on newer challenges everyday. They work hand-in-hand with other engineers in the team to build and invent a phenomenal product with a prime focus on accuracy, understandability and performance of the product. This position involves a wide variety of skills and innovation, and is a unique opportunity that sits at the cutting-edge of machine learning and software engineering. Ultimately, your work would have a huge impact on hundreds of millions of users across the globe. 

Location: Beijing. 

Education
Masters or PhD in Computer Science, with a specialization in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction or related fields.

The Siri Team is looking for someone with a combination of strong programming skills and a creative, user-focused mindset. Specific responsibilities include:

4. FileMaker Software Development Intern（Beijing）
Job Summary 
FileMaker Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Inc., is looking for interns to join the FileMaker dev team. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical skills who can contribute in a dynamic team environment and work independently. The successful candidate will design and develop small projects, fix bugs, and ensure the successful delivery.     

Responsibilities 
The dev intern is expected to learn various FileMaker software knowledge and technologies, programming languages and tools. You will have access to specifications, design documents, and source code. This position is based in Beijing.

The position will need to:
Research and define project scope
Plan schedule
Design and implement features
Communicate with other developers and QA in both China and US.

5. FileMaker Software Quality Assurance Intern（Beijing）
Job Summary 
FileMaker Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Inc., is looking for interns to join the FileMaker Pro SQA team. This position, requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical skills who can contribute in a dynamic team environment and work independently. The successful candidate will design and execute test cases, develop and use different tools, create and maintain automations, and ensure the successful delivery of a quality product.  
  
Description 
The SQA intern is expected to learn various FileMaker software knowledge and technologies being used by the software (Database principles, Security, Network, software engineering) and use of different programming languages (Python, Shell, C++). You will have access to developer's specifications, design documents and source code, as well as QA’s test plan, to understand the features in depth and produce and execute suitable test cases. The position will involve manual blackbox testing (UI testing, functional testing, smoke testing, performance testing, regression testing), automation creation and maintenance, test tool development. This position is based in Beijing.

Description
We are looking for an outstanding engineering intern who combine highly technical, research and analytical capabilities. Requirements
Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis

Experience with predictive modeling, customer profiling, hypothesis testing, regression techniques, and recommender systems
Understanding of test methodology, concepts and quality metrics

Must be able to work 32+ hours a week throughout the  internship program

Education
